Title: ‘The object will dream of me’ Year: 2022, Location: Rote Fabrik, Zurich

The Open Studio consist of the installation of video, painting, text, and photos focusing on pigeons. Pigeons, stubbornly going the same places again and again. Why are the pigeon around buildings which may be as old and monumental as museums? Or even a museum, which we surround like pigeons again and again? I got a list of important museums and places in major cities I should visit in Switzerland. As I started going there I turned into a pigeon, stubbornly going there again and again. The installation is an outcome of my visits and observations, questioning the power of seeing and hearing. What is the relation of power to display? How, where, and through what the world is shown? And to whom? Specially Questioning to the Ethnographic Museums: Form which part of world the knowledge is coming and whom the knowledge is meant to be seen/learned and who actually sees it?
